Who are we?

KSM Soundrecording, a trade name of KSM ICT, located at Valeriusstraat 25 in Veere, is responsible for processing personal data as described on this page. You can reach us at info@ksm-soundrecording.com.

What data do we process?

Contact form: your name, email address, optionally your phone number, and the content of your message.
Account and orders: name, email address, address details, optionally company name and VAT number, and which products you've purchased.
Payments: the payment itself is processed by our payment provider. We only receive whether the payment succeeded, the amount, and the method used. We never see or store your full card details.
Technical data: your IP address is briefly recorded when logging in and downloading, to prevent misuse.
Newsletter: only your email address, and only once you've confirmed your sign-up by email.

Why do we process this data?

To answer your question or deliver the agreed service (performance of a contract).
To process your order and give you access to your downloads (performance of a contract).
To comply with our legal obligation to keep invoices for seven years (legal obligation).
To secure the website against misuse (legitimate interest).
To send you a newsletter, if you've given us permission to do so (consent).

How long do we keep your data?

We keep messages sent via the contact form for a maximum of two years. We keep invoices and the related data for seven years, because the Dutch Tax Administration requires this. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data and anonymise the invoices we're required to keep. We keep your newsletter sign-up until you unsubscribe.

Do we share data with others?

Only when necessary for the service or required by law. We use a payment provider to process payments, a hosting provider for the website, and an email provider to send messages. We have data processing agreements in place with these parties. We never sell your data.

Cookies

This website only places functional cookies: one to remember that you're logged in, and one to secure forms. We don't use tracking cookies, advertising networks, or analytics services that track you across websites. That's why you don't need to click anything away before continuing.

Security

The entire website runs over a secure connection (HTTPS). We store passwords encrypted with Argon2id, so they're unreadable even to us. Download files are stored outside the public folders and are only accessible via a personal, expiring link. You can add extra protection to your account with two-factor authentication.

Your rights

You can always ask us for access to your data, correction, deletion, or transfer. Under "My details" in your account you'll find buttons to download all your data or delete your account. You can also email info@ksm-soundrecording.com. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you may file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
